Gratitude

Gratitude makes life better.jpg

This month, our pack meetings are focused on gratitude.

I have to be honest, it sounds a little cheesy to me. Not that there is anything wrong with cheesy, but not when people are facing real, difficult issues in their lives.

But, here’s the thing. There is a lot of really good science on how gratitude can improve your life. It even has physical health benefits. Science suggests that it helps people to live longer, and have fewer illnesses and health complaints!

Holy smokes! Not so cheesy after all.

Check out the Greater Good Science Center out of Berkeley, a big name university in California, for lots of good information.

Another great resource is gratefulness.org. It has lots of information, and great ways to practice gratitude in your life.

And shutterfly has a great list of 50 gratitude quotes to check out.

Sounds like we should all give some thought to the things we can be grateful for in our lives.

If you are a resident at Ruby Hill, come to your Pack Meeting for more information, and some great activities and resources.
